Submole is operated by Rohit Shukla ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use Submole, you agree to these terms and enter a contract with the seller. If you use Submole on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company.
Submole is a subscription spend tracking tool for businesses. It identifies recurring charges from billing emails you choose to share and from records you enter manually, and presents spending summaries, renewal dates, and potential savings. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for the activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must have the authority to connect any mailbox you link to Submole.
You may use Submole only for lawful purposes and only with mailboxes and data you are authorised to access. You must not misuse the service, including: unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, interfering with the security or operation of the service (including malware, probing or scraping), attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the service, reselling or redistributing it, or circumventing plan limits.
We own all rights in the Submole service, including the software, documentation and branding. Your data remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.
Subscription details are extracted automatically from billing emails and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Submole shows the source email for every detected charge so you can verify it, and you can correct any record by hand. Submole is a tracking aid, not an accounting system of record.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and Paddle's refund process.
New accounts receive a 7 day free trial with all features unlocked, no card required. When the trial ends, the account moves to the free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Your data is never deleted when a trial ends.
We work hard to keep Submole available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. When access ends, your data remains available for export for 30 days on request, after which it may be deleted.
Submole is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), or for decisions made based on detected subscription data. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Submole after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Questions about these terms: email support@submole.com.
